The latest BIONZ XR™ image processing engine

The latest BIONZ XR image processing engine delivers extraordinary detail and sharpness and packs a standard ISO range that extends from 100 to 32000. Thanks to the high-speed readout, 5.6K oversampling compresses a vast amount of information into stunning 4K 60p footage (QFHD: 3840 x 2160).

From the G Master™ series, which blends breathtaking resolution with exquisite bokeh, to the G Lens™ series with first-class image quality, the ZV-E10 II is compatible with a wide range of E-mount lenses from Sony. The ZV-E10 II lens kit comes with the versatile E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II zoom lens.

Diverse visual expression

The Creative Look function makes it simple to create expressive moods for stills and movies in-camera, offering 10 presets that can be used as they are or customised. Try the My Image Style function  for further expressive versatility. When shooting in the Intelligent Auto or Scene Selection mode, it allows the background bokeh, brightness, and colour tone to be easily adjusted via icons on the touch screen.

Cinematic Vlog Setting  provides an intuitive way to create cinematic vlog footage without having to deal with complex camera settings. Take advantage of “Looks” such as S-Cinetone™ that enhances skin tones, or “Moods”  that emphasise specific colours to create cinematic vlog footage to match the scene and your vision.

The latest BIONZ XR image processing engine and optimised algorithms produce notably improved AF performance. A high-density array of 759 focal plane phase­-detection AF points  ensures consistently smooth, precise focus.

Real-time Eye AF recognises—with high precision—the faces and eyes of humans, as well as the eyes of animals and birds, for consistently accurate and reliable focus. Real-­time Tracking ensures that focus is maintained on the subject as it moves around in the frame.

Clear, beautiful skin tones

The camera consistently depicts colours and textures of human skin no matter the lighting. With upgraded gradation rendering capabilities, it captures better looking skin tones and highlight roll-off in portraits, while skin tones are independently optimised for stills and movies.

Capture those fleeting moments

With up to 120 fps capture in clear XAVC-S Full HD quality, you can record stunning motion sequences using the S&Q mode  at 5x slow motion (24p playback). Time-lapse sequences  can be created in-camera and the exposure interval can be set from 1 second to 60 seconds. Continuous still shooting with the camera’s electronic shutter is possible at up to 11 fps  with full AF/AE tracking

Active Mode electronic image stabilisation employs a precision gyroscope and advanced algorithm to accurately measure and compensate for camera shake, providing highly effective stabilisation without sacrificing mobility, even when shooting 4K. With compatible lenses, breathing compensation  automatically compensates for minor angle-of-view shifts when the lens focus changes, delivering distraction-free, rack focusing.

Intelligent 3-capsule microphone

An advanced 3-capsule microphone offers excellent pickup and noise reduction performance, making it easier than ever to record clear, high-quality audio. Select Auto or choose from Front, Rear, or All Directions settings to match a variety of recording situations and environments.

Enhanced audio for shooting and editing

The ZV-E10 II is supplied with a windscreen to significantly reduce noise when shooting in outdoor situations. For more versatile audio capture, digital audio interfaces are supported by the camera’s Multi Interface (Ml) Shoe, enabling direct transfer of high-quality digital audio with minimal degradation to the camera from external microphones, such as the optional ECM series.

4K 60p / 10-bit 4:2:2 All-Intra

The ZV-E10 II supports a range of recording formats, including 10-bit 4:2:2 video and All-Intra compression at up to 4K 60p. Metadata can be imported, enabling efficient post-production in software like Catalyst Browse, Catalyst Prepare / Plugin and Master Cut.

S-Log3 gamma for extra wide dynamic range

Intuitive operation and easy uploads

The layout of the shooting information shown on the display automatically switches to match horizontal or vertical orientations, seamlessly matching your needs in any situation. Easily shoot for any social media format.

Touch operation for vertical, horizontal, or selfie shots

A vari-angle LCD monitor facilitates shooting from just about any angle. Swiping in from the left or right edge of the shooting display reveals touch icons that allow quick changes to the shooting mode and more. The function (Fn) menu can be displayed by swiping up on the monitor.

C1 (Custom 1) and Background Defocus

The C1 (Custom 1) button can be assigned to a frequently used function for quick one-touch access. For instance, its default setting Background Defocus allows you to easily and instantly increase the amount of background blur to emphasise a main subject.

Customisation for efficient vlogging

The Product Showcase button makes it easy to shoot product videos by smoothly switching focus to a product. A quick menu of frequently used functions can be assigned to the Fn (Function) button. In viewing mode, the Smartphone Transfer (Send to Smartphone) button calls up the display for transferring images to a smartphone

Live streaming and simple sharing

The ZV-E10 II supports 5 GHz  Wi-Fi, making it ideal for wireless live streaming. The SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps (USB 3.2) Type-C® port also allows high-speed wired transfer to a smartphone   or PC for easy post-production and sharing on social media platforms.

Creators’ Cloud platform

The Creators’ Cloud platform supports creative work, from shooting to production, by combining advanced camera technology from Sony with cloud-based Al. Explore web, mobile, and PC-based apps that provide efficient solutions for integrating cameras with shooting and production apps and services

Creators’ App

Creators’ App is a smartphone application that allows you to connect cameras from Sony to the cloud, enhancing functionality and convenience in shooting and sharing.

High battery capacity allows extended shooting

The ZV-E10 II uses a high-capacity NP-FZ100 battery, allowing continuous movie recording¹⁸ for up to 195 minutes per charge. Quick charging is possible with USB PD (Power Delivery)¹⁹. During live streaming (USB streaming), power can also be supplied from an external computer via a USB cable

Compact, lightweight, and comfortable to hold

The ZV-E10 II measures just 67.5 mm (2 3/4 inches) high by 114.8 mm (4 5/8 inches) wide by 54.2 mm  (2 1/4 inches) deep with a body that weighs just  292 grams  (approx. 10.3 oz)—a remarkable achievement for a camera that uses a high-capacity NP-FZ100 battery. Its hold and feel are enhanced by a specially shaped and textured grip.

Sustainability

Sony’s Road to Zero environmental plan was launched in 2010 with the goal of achieving a zero environmental footprint. Our Green Management 2025 plan defines intermediate targets and progress on the way to the ultimate zero-footprint goal. Measures have been taken to reduce the environmental footprint of this product at every stage of its life cycle: from product development through supply chain, production, and packaging.

Sony is working towards the use of non-plastic packaging materials  that provide ample protection against shock and impact. Plant-based nonwoven fabrics are used for product bags. All of this helps to minimise environmental stress.
