NOKTON 35mm F0.9 Aspherical

The NOKTON 35mm F0.9 Aspherical X Mount is Voigtländer’s fastest F0.9 lens for the X mount, a standard lens with an extremely large aperture. The lens delivers crisp, clear images even at full aperture, and features compact styling with an overall length of 64.9 mm (from the tip to the mount surface) for ease of handling. In order to satisfy all the design goals we have adopted an in-house produced GA (ground aspherical) lens on the first surface of the lens.

Dedicated to the FUJIFILM X mount
Designed exclusively for the FUJIFILM X mount. Optics are optimized for the image sensor of the FUJIFILM X system cameras. This prevents distortion, light reduction, and color casts on the periphery of the image without relying on the camera’s optical correction function.

Electronic Contacts for Information Communication with the Body
The electronic contact enables highly reliable electrical communication between the lens and the camera body. By combining a communication-compatible body and the latest firmware (*1), Exif information, focus check, and shooting distance-linked display are supported, as well as in-body image stabilization and parallax correction for certain models.

Manual focus for reliable focusing
The use of an all-metal helicoid unit machined and adjusted to a high degree of precision and high-quality lubricants which produce moderate torque ensure smooth focusing operation. Subtle focusing adjustment is possible.

12-blade aperture diaphragm for beautiful bokeh
The aperture diaphragm is configured with 12 blades to make the aperture opening as circular as possible. This means the out-of-focus areas of images are drawn naturally and point light sources etc. are drawn as soft round bokeh rather than as polygonal shapes.

Directly operated mechanical aperture ring
Like the VM mount and mirrorless mount Voigtländer lenses, the lens employs an aperture ring mechanism that directly opens and closes the aperture. The mechanism has 1/3 stop clicks so you can directly enjoy the feeling of operating it.

GA (grinding aspherical) lens and mechanical components
The GA lens, produced in-house by us, is used as the primary element of the lens， while the mechanism is also equipped with a floating mechanism to ensure stable image quality from the shortest shooting distance to distant motifs.

Note on Electronic communication Compatible Bodies
Although this product is equipped with electronic contacts, there are restrictions on the bodies that can be used for Electronic communications. Please check the body list below. (According to Jun. 2023 survey)

Models that do not support telecommunications

1. It is recommended to change the aperture value display setting from TNo to FNo in the body settings.
2. It is recommended that the depth-of-field display be changed to the film standard (the same value as the depth scale engraved on the product) in the body settings.
3. Please use the latest firmware as it may not perform as well as the listed firmware or may have limitations in some of the functions. Please check the firmware of the camera body you are using and refer to the body manual to obtain the latest firmware.
4. When using a camera that does not support Electronic communications, change the “Release without lens” setting to “Permitted” in the body settings.

The 28mm f/2.8 Color-Skopar SLIIs Lens for Nikon from Voigtlander is a fully mechanical 28mm prime lens with a maximum aperture of f/2.8. It features 7 optical elements arranged in 6 groups, using double sided aspherical lenses, which ensure the image retains sharpness all the way to the corners and allow the lens to focus at an very short distance of just 6 inches. The smooth manual focus operation also contributes to controlling focus position, and both depth of field and focus distance scales are featured on the metal lens barrel to aid in pre-focusing or setting hyperfocal distance. This lens’ physical design also features a scalloped focus ring to recall classic lens designs of the 1960s as well as afford more secure handling during use. It also provides an improved and easy-to-grip focusing tab for fast and accurate focusing.

Our Voigtländer 75 mm / 1:1.5 Nokton VM replaces the popular 75 mm / 1:1.8 Heliar Classic VM as dedicated portrait lens. Compared to its predecessor, the lens is more compact, despite a more sophisticated construction and even faster lens speed.

A total of seven lens elements in six groups, together with 12 aperture blades, deliver image performance that meets the highest demands. Due to the tele focal length of 75 mm, combined with a large maximum aperture of f/1.5, the photographer can create strong images with smooth out of focus background rendering, ideal for truly “outstanding” portraits. Also in object photography one can use the lens` ability to effectively isolate objects from the background, and experiment with depth-of-field and bokeh.

In whichever photographic application, the lens is a joy to use, due its high craftsmanship and quality, and ultimately the images it can produce.

The Voigtländer 75 mm / 1:1.5 Nokton VM has been designed for rangefinder cameras, with high-precision rangefinder coupling. Using adapters, the lens can also be used on many current digital camera models.
