The 294 monopod has a 4-section carbon composite leg that’s both lightweight and rigid in order to help hold the camera stable and minimize vibration. Like the rest of the 290 Carbon range, the 294 Monopod uses a “next-generation” carbon tubing: an innovative composite tube derived from Manfrotto’s experience in professional supports, it has optimized fibre angles that provide consistent advantages over aluminium tubing in terms of rigidity, lightness and stability. The 4-section construction minimizes the monopod when closed, making it more compact and easily transportable. A wrist strap keeps the monopod and camera firmly in your grasp. Durable tension-adjustable aluminium leg locks can be tightened to suit your preference and to counteract any effects of wear and aging in order to keep the monopod fully functional throughout its long life. The monopod screws directly into the tripod mount on the underside of your camera.

The monopod’s simple 5-section design allows it to be used at a variety of heights culminating in a maximum height of 59.1″. When each section is fully collapsed, the monopod is only 16.3″ in length and weighs just 1.1 lb, an easy size and weight for transport and travel. Its twist-lock design allows the monopod to maintain a slim profile and just a 1/2 turn of each lock will unlock or lock each section in place.

In order to accommodate both monopod head users and direct-to-camera mounting the base plate features a 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 reversible screw surrounded by a rubber anti-friction padding. A foam grip and leg warmer has also been integrated into the design to protect the user’s hands from extreme heat or cold that may alter the temperature of the aluminum frame. A hand strap has also been included to increase safety and an interchangeable rubber and spiked foot is included for using the monopod on varying terrain.

The new XPRO Monopod OVER is a professional carbon fiber photo monopod made for photographers who require extra height to stand above the crowd, or to master a wide range of shooting angles. At the same time, you can close it down and easily carry it in a camera bag.The 100-percent carbon fiber legs give the monopod high rigidity whilst better absorbing micro movements to ensure excellent image quality.
