The EOS C50 is capable of recording 3:2 Open Gate video at 4K120 and raw video up to 7K60, as well as 32MP stills in photo mode. Simply select between dedicated photo and video modes for an intuitive hybrid shooting experience. Additional advanced features of the C50 include Dual-Pixel CMOS AF II, simultaneous 2K crop recording, built-in Frame.io Camera-to-Cloud integration, and XC protocol support for remote control. 7K Full-Frame CMOS Sensor
The C50 is equipped with a 7K full-frame CMOS sensor that creates images with low noise for improved performance in a wide variety of lighting environments. This maximizes the camera’s full 15+ stop dynamic range in full-frame sensor mode. Using 7K resolution provides greater flexibility in post, such as oversampled 4K60 footage.
3:2 Open Gate Sensor Mode
The first of the cinema EOS line to do so, the C50 offers Open Gate recording options for the use of the full dimensions of the sensor. Select Full Frame 3:2 from the Sensor mode section of the main menu to shoot using the full area of the sensor. Then you can use that information in post to crop or reframe your footage to aspect ratios of your choice. This proves useful when shooting with anamorphic lenses.
Internal Raw and High Frame Rate Recording
Additional recording options of the C50 include 7K60 Cinema RAW Light with three 12-bit recording modes in HQ, ST, and LT. Standard XF-AVC codec is available in 10-bit 4:2:2 for rich detail and smooth images at frame rates up to 120 fps without cropping. You can also record in fast or slow motion up to 4K120 and 2K180. Other recording codecs include XF-AVC S and XF-HEVC S for easy-to-manage naming systems and folder structures while preserving metadata.
Anamorphic De-Squeeze
The C50 features internal support for anamorphic de-squeeze. Preview your footage more accurately when shooting in different magnification ratios by toggling the de-squeeze options in the camera menu: 2x, 1.8x, 1.5x, 1.3x.
Dual-Base ISO
Base ISOs of 800 and 6400 in Canon Log 2 gamma recording mode maximize the full dynamic range of the C50’s sensor. The camera also features Auto Selection to automatically toggle between one of the two base ISO levels and another level while maintaining the dynamic range.
Dual-Pixel CMOS AF II
Keep your subject in focus, whether you’re shooting in slow or fast motion. The Dual-Pixel CMOS AF II can accommodate speeds up to 4K120 and 2K150, ensuring that even when using high frame rates, your subject remains in focus. The C50’s sensor has improved light-capturing efficiency, which widens the area of the sensor that can be used for autofocus. Choose between three format options—9:17, 9:16, or 1:1—to automatically crop your image down when shooting in DCI or UHD 4K resolutions. The cropped portion of the frame will be saved in your selected aspect ratio and will be in 2K resolution. All of this reduces turnaround time when formatting videos for social media deliverables.
Dual Card Slots
The C50 includes two different card slots—one CFexpress Type-B and one SD card. Both slots support simultaneous recording even when shooting in raw codecs. All recording options are stored to your inserted CFexpress card, while sub-recording and proxy options record to your inserted SD card.

Vertical shooting is even more intuitive now thanks to the C50’s vertical shooting UI. Simply switch to native Vertical Shooting to flip your display accordingly. Log yang Memperluas Ekspresi Visual

Canon Log 2

Canon Log 2 mempertahankan detail di area sedang hingga gelap dan menunjukkan karakteristik yang sebanding dengan film. Selain itu, log ini memungkinkan output linear di rentang yang lebih luas, kontrol pencahayaan dengan pergeseran warna minimal, dan pelestarian detail selama pascapenyuntingan. Log ini bekerja sangat baik dengan pengaturan produksi (seperti produksi film) yang dibuat berdasarkan Cineon-Log.

Canon Log 3

Log ini terkenal karena mudah digunakan, memungkinkan pengguna untuk membuat video dengan penyesuaian nada dasar sesedikit mungkin melalui gradasi. Mengetatkan area gelap mengurangi noise di area gelap tanpa mengorbankan rentang dinamis yang luas.

Three Base ISO

Tergantung pada pemandangan, pengguna dapat secara manual memilih tiga level ISO dasar dari rendah ke tinggi. Fitur Pemilihan Otomatis kamera beralih di antara tiga level ISO dasar ke salah satu dengan rasio S/N yang lebih tinggi sambil mempertahankan rentang dinamis.

Pengaturan ISO dasar yang berbeda berdasarkan kecerahan pemandangan (sensitivitas ISO) mengurangi noise dalam videografi.

Dukungan Lensa Anamorphic

Saat ditampilkan pada monitor LCD atau dengan MON. /SDI/HDMI, gambar dikrop pada sudut pandang 2,39:1 setelah desqueezing.

Rasio pembesaran dapat dipilih dari OFF, 2x, 1,8x, atau 1,3x dalam menu (apabila merekam pada 4K 60/50P, tampilan desqueezing berada pada 2K untuk MON. / SDI / HDMI). Data yang direkam untuk metadata dapat dikonfigurasi secara terpisah dari rasio pembesaran.

Perekaman RAW Secara Bersamaan

Dua slot untuk kartu CFexpress dan SD disertakan. Hal ini memungkinkan perekaman XF-AVC, XF-HEVC S, XF-AVC S, dan data proxy secara bersamaan ke kartu SD apabila merekam 6K RAW secara internal ke kartu Cfexpress. Hal ini memungkinkan pengelolaan file yang lebih baik untuk penyuntingan video yang lebih efisien dan lebih cepat.

*Cinema RAW Light hanya dapat direkam ke kartu CFexpress.

Fungsi Live Recording (Perekaman Langsung)

EOS C400 dapat mendukung pengoperasian acara langsung di dalam bodi kameranya, sehingga pemotretan langsung pun bebas stres.

Bodi kamera memiliki terminal Ethernet dan G-LOCK/SYNC/RET, yang memungkinkan input return dan tally tanpa memerlukan unit ekspansi.

 

 

IP streaming

Dengan dukungan protokol SRT yang baru, EOS C400 memudahkan streaming langsung program berita dan situs web video.

Dukungan Sistem EOS VR

Mendukung perekaman VR 180° hanya dengan memasang lensa VR.

Kamera ini kompatibel dengan lensa RF5.2mm F2.8 L DUAL FISHEYE. Canon membantu alur kerja dari pemotretan hingga penyuntingan dengan menyediakan plugin untuk Adobe Premier Pro dan perangkat lunak untuk VR.

 

 

Dudukan RF

Sifat dudukan RF yang ringkas dan ringan berkat fokus belakangnya yang pendek. Pemanfaatan lensa RF menghasilkan imaging (penggambaran) yang sangat ekspresif dan berkualitas tinggi. Kemampuan komunikasi berkecepatan tinggi dudukan RF memungkinkan kontrol kamera dan IS lensa yang lebih terkoordinasi untuk menghasilkan stabilisasi gambar yang dahsyat.
